Carrier Ethernet Market Projections
Standardization is helping Carrier Ethernet gain global acceptance. Due to this, Carrier Ethernet is fast becoming the new universal communication infrastructure and, as a result, projections for Carrier Ethernet services and Carrier Ethernet equipment are very robust. Much of this projected growth will come at the expense of legacy services and the associated equipment infrastructure. Service Providers are expected to see declines in ATM, Frame Relay and T1 service revenues.
